This wonderful wine bar above street level in Spring Street, Melbourne, is a hidden treasure. Walking up the stairs to this wonderfully “old world” bar, with the late afternoon light coming in through it’s spectacular semi circular street window, I just knew I had to photograph it. The atmosphere of the place was warm and welcoming like the old, jazz night–clubs in movies.

These are a series of 10 images taken over a period of one month, from the early evening to the wee hours of the morning, when the club really starts to liven up.
