The Pink Lakes landscapes were taken during the middle of winter, a time when the lakes come to life. The surrounding area is surprisingly bland, but after driving through heavy bush to arrive here, it was worth the wait. The evening light makes this area of the Pink Lakes National Park in South Australia absolutely magical.
